Clark was born in Germany, where his mother served actively in the US Army.
Clark has also lived in Colorado, Ohio, Nebraska, and Nevada. However, he will always consider his small hometown of Green Sea, South Carolina, as his cherished home. Clark’s passion for advocacy grew from witnessing his parents’ struggles with disabilities. He earned dual degrees in Political Science and Experimental Psychology at the University of South Carolina before attending Georgia State University’s College of Law. – Where he graduated cum laude.
During his education, Clark worked with personal injury firms, aided individuals in financial crises, supported the Public Defender’s Office, and clerked for the late Justice Harris Hines at Georgia’s Supreme Court.
